Hello one and all and welcome to my blog. Yes I, like many others, have a blog…huzzah! Upon the behest of my blogger beau over @ FreshIAm.net, this was suggested to me as a way of broadcasting the goings on here at the House. So let me start off with an introduction:
I, Onibella, am Head Mistress here at Body Politik Design House. Well, technically my title is Creative Director but cliche titles seem strange to me… if I had my way I’d be “Textile Manipulator” but I was advised that “Creative Director” is easier to understand. Regardless, as Creative Director-Head Mistress-Textile Manipulator, I will strive to explore various sewing techniques, application methods, fiber, fabric usage etc. While doing so the plan is to have the resulting refined items [tees, bandanas, coats, patches (results will vary)] produced in limited quantities and made available … in limited quantities.
Currently my focus is with coloring application and removal methods. My kitchen hates me and so do my hands. BUT the results are to dye for and make the process well worth it. And don’t worry, I will be sure to post plenty of pics.
