I think this has something to do with the fact that a lot of designers are not ethnic so they are unfamiliar with the cultures and don’t see the everyday beauty of ethnic models. However, I understand that if you want to reach a certain market then you must cater to them but not to the exclusion of another. All this gives me a great idea for a photo-shoot though. Which is all we can do. Work from the inside to make things better. Or do a boycott. Money talks.
